Description

Villa Oud Groevenbeek on estate Oud Groevenbeek in Ermelo is a national monument built in Jugendstil style. It is recently restored with much respect for the original details.

When you enter the drive you immediately feel the unique appearance of this beautiful domain. You discover the beautiful garden where they used to grow vegetables and fruit. You walk to a castle-like water tower from 1912 situated on an artificial hill and you can see a vinery from 1915. Here the grapes are grown that are used for the own estate wine ‘Chateau Oud Groevenbeek’.

Oud Groevebeek has a network of lovely situated paths: along the manor, the Volenbeek, the Sprenkop and the burial hills on the Groevenbeekse heathland. This area is full of buzzards, hawks, ravens, wild boar, foxes, badgers, green, black and coloured woodpeckers and ice birds.

Five stylish holiday suites are realised in the characteristic Villa Oud Groevenbeek. The garden suite is on the ground floor. You have a living room, large dining kitchen with microwave (no oven) and dishwasher, and a bathroom with shower, bath tub and toilet. The authentic patio complements the grandeur feeling. The communal salon is for joint use, to meet and to have breakfast.

Around the villa there is garden furniture available for the guests of the suites.
