Description
This cosy miller’s home owes its name to the adjacent wind mill the Tjasker from 1963, with thatched roof and bedstead. With the help of this mill, the remote peat area is still provided with water, in the breath-taking beautiful National Park the Weerribben land and water still compete for hegemony.
Therefore, sailing through the Weerribben is a unique way to experience this area. But along the very diverse routes; from normal walking paths to the adventurous booth path, you can also fantastically explore the Weerribben by foot or by bike. In this unique landscape bird species like the Eurasian bittern, Eurasian reed warbler and sedge warbler are hiding between the reed. You might also spot a large flame butterfly that appears from the end of July for a few weeks.
The Tjasker is a complete, compact and comfortable home. The living room is next to the open kitchen (with microwave and dishwasher) and you can sleep in a cosy, renewed bedstead. During your stay in the Tjasker you also have an outdoor storage area and a terrace. The lovely view over National Park the Weerribben is just extra!
