Description

Holiday home St. Hubertus is located in the Vierhouterbos near Vierhouten. A beautiful area with endless heathlands, rough drifting-sand areas, beautiful forests, wild boards, red deed and sheep herds. The garden of this former gamekeeper home is even fenced off with mesh to keep the wild boars out! In the shed of this characteristic home we can see why it is called after the patron of the hunt: the game hooks on the attic remind us of the time when the shot animal was brought here.

 

Due to the presence of old beech and oak trees a number of rare animal species can be found here, such as badger and stag-beetles, a type of beetle that can reach a length of more than 9 centimetres. The stag-beetle owes its name to the large branched jaws of males resembling a deer antler.

 

The Vierhouterbos is a real Eldorado for hikers and cyclists. You find various attractions in the nearby area, zoos, museums, old towns and even more nature.

 

In holiday home St. Hubertus you have a dining room/kitchen (oven, microwave and dishwasher) with playing corner and a comfortable living room. The three bedrooms (2 double, 1 single), the bathroom (with bath tub), the lovely garden and the terrace make sure you have that great relaxing holiday feeling.
