This beautiful spacious holiday home De Pimpernel is situated on the border of Drenthe and Overijssel, in the hushed Reestdal. Who once has discovered the winding Reest through this century-old culture landscape, will be amazed about its unknown beauty. A very rare landscape that has almost disappeared everywhere. From De Pimpernel you really have a fantastic view across this unique nature resort with a lovely stork family that is often a regular guest in summer. The holiday home De Pimpernel is situated in the characteristic, detached shed of the former farm. The farmhouse itself is a private residence but due to the location the holiday home offers plenty of privacy, peace and space.

The water of the Reest shaped the landscape in the south-west of Drenthe. Its unique location as border river has ensured that the authentic character of the landscape is preserved. From the middle ages small settlements were built along the stream. This was done on the favourable located sand emerges where De Wildenberg, the place where the Pimpernel is situated, must have been one of the oldest.
The intact character and the peace that you find in this old hill landscape, make the Reestdal the ideal area for a brisk walk or a relaxed bike ride. On route you can enjoy high tea or a lovely dinner at the beautiful estate De Havixhorst with its unique sculpture garden. In the nearby villages of De Wijk (10 km) and Zuidwolde (9 km) you can get your groceries.

The holiday home De Pimpernel only has one floor. The living room has a modern open kitchen with a lovely wood fire. Next to a joint living room there is a separate guest lounge with small kitchen and separate bedroom. Very suitable for two couples or a family with grandparents. The home has 3 bedrooms (2 with a double bed and 1 with two single beds), all on the ground floor. There is a lovely garden with a comfortable terrace. The view across the lovely Reestdal makes your stay in this undiscovered area complete.
