Peppelboom

Holiday home the Peppelboom (poplar tree) is located on a century-old sand path in the Speulder- en Sprielderbos on the north-west part of the Veluwe. This is one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands and stretches, as the name already says, from Putten (Sprielderbos) to Ermelo (Speulderbos). The large heathlands and a number of prehistoric burial hills are characteristic for this forest.

For the experts: these are winter oak-beech forests and oak-beech forests, so forests that contain a lot of dead wood. This ensures for much animal life and a rich growth of fungi and mosses. The Speulder- en Sprielderbos is rich on food so many large game animals can live here such as red deer and wild boars. Other animal species in this area are the badger, pine marten and the smooth snake and birds of prey like the hawk and wasp dive. You can observe the animals from behind the game observation screen.

In the authentic holiday home De Peppelboom with modern, stylish furniture and equipped with shutters the kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, oven, microwave) is next to the cosy living room.  The bathroom has a bath tub and there are three double bedrooms, outside a spacious terrace and a carport.
