Description

Two homes are situated near the village of Gorssel, at the south of ‘Hanze’ town Deventer; De Ooievaar and Nieuw Senneke. A special home, fully newly built, with the ‘tiny houses’ concept in the back of the mind. The modern look at the outside and the use of local Gelderland wood provide a nice contrast. Inside the home has a smart lay-out and the use of various materials ensures for a warm and pleasant appearance.
The homes are close (approx. 200 metres) to each other, but because of the location between the trees there is plenty of privacy.

 

The home is situated in small but attractive forest area, named ‘t Zand. It is a small-scaled landscape with lovely farms with orchards, hawthorn bushes and wooded bark. Really special is the former stork station. From this place the storks could spread themselves across the area. Near the home you can still find some stork nests. It is really special to see these imposing birds at short range. Obviously, the home owes its name to these neighbours.
The nearby situated Hall farmhouse ‘t Senneke was built shortly after the middle of the 19th century and served as a home for labourers. Behind the home there still is an old high tree orchard with old varieties like sugar pear, claps, cox, elstar, red boskoop, triomf de menne and grocer pear.

 

The holiday home is suitable for four people and is equipped with all comforts. The living room, due to the large glass wall, has a lovely view complete with wood fire. The kitchen completely equipped with devices and the bathroom are situated downstairs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The home does not have a cot and highchair.
