Kloosterhof

Next to the century-old convent (you will not be disturbed by them as it is now used as a resting home for nuns) the Carréhoeve Kloosterhof is located in the quiet Limburg town of Haelen. The stable wing can be reached via the living area by crossing the courtyard. These types of square farms appear a lot in Belgium and in our country we often seem these in Brabant and Limburg.

The Kloosterhof is situated in the lovely Leudal. The history of this area is capricious and shows traces of cultures succeeding each other that ruled the valley. This is shown by the old burial hills, by century-old patterns in the landscape, in wooden walls, former sheep drifts, castles and farms, wind and water mills, convents, churches and chapels. The Leudal is very valuable in terms of nature. It is features by a large variation; height differences, meandering streams, parts of heathland and alternately dry and wet parts.

Carréhoeve Kloosterhof consists of two homes. The original residence together with the stable wing have a capacity of 12 people. In both parts the kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms have a complete and luxury interior. There are also terraces as well as a chopping shed where you can park your cars.
