Deer and wild boars are your neighbours when you stay in the former forest guard home Deelerwoud near Deelen (north side of Arnhem) on the Veluwe. The nature resort Deelerwoud is a beautiful untouched estate with vast forests, endless heathlands and a sloping landscape and is therefore a great area for walks or bike rides. You can oversee the estate from the ninety-metres high viewing point De Hartenhulberg. Really recommendable!

Nature resort Deelerwoud is a paradise for the fallow deer, red deer and wild boar. These animals have not been hunted down since 2001 so the population is maintained and even rises. The birds have also found their way to the Deelerwoud. Birds like the yellowhammer, wheatear, raven and three woodpecker species feel at home here. Plus reptiles can also live freely here. The vast heathlands are a pleasant place for the blind worm, the sand lizard and the adder.

The lovely holiday home Deelerwoud, with patio and large fenced garden is really equipped with all comforts. From the large, comfortable living room you can open the large terrace doors and you stand on the unique patio. The dining room/kitchen is decorated luxurious and there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with bath tub.
