Nieuw Reemst

Near Ede, surrounded by imposing century-old oak trees, holiday home Boerderij Nieuw Reemst is situated. At a unique location on the Veluwe in the middle of the forest, the heathland and the drifting-sand areas of nature resort Planken Wambuis. Rather lugubrious but the name Planken Wambuis refers to a wambuis (a wooden garment in which you cannot move), actually a referral to a coffin.

You can cycle endlessly through the sloping heathlands of the Planken Wambuis nature or take an adventurous walk along drifting-sand and through fairy-tale forests. But you can also meet horses, Scottish highlanders and Spanish cattle. At least five woodpecker species live in this beautiful area.

Planken Wambuis has observation points from which you have an amazing view across the beautiful Heidedal and places like Kootwijk, Otterlo and Arnhem. A place that you want to come back to.

The characteristic holiday home Nieuw Reemst is located in a lovely garden with shed and a great terrace. The living room is comfortable and equipped with all comforts and is connected to the open kitchen (with dishwasher and such). The bathroom (with bath tub) and one double bedroom are also situated on the ground floor. On the first floor there is another bedroom as well as a second toilet.
