Description

A place with a long history, within walking distance of the beach. The first construction drawings of this gamekeeper's house date from 1906. The building permit application was submitted by Count van Limburg Stirum at that time.

The property is located on a road leading to the beach. On a beautiful spring or summer day, you will not be the only one at the beach entrance at Langevelderslag. It can be crowded with day trippers. Even the road right next to the house can get a lot of traffic on days like this. All the beachgoers will have to return home at some point. Luckily, you get to stay!

The holiday home is a 5-minute bike ride from the beach, but the surrounding area offers more special nature worth visiting. A unique dune landscape, forests, but also every spring an extensive colour palette of endless bulb fields. Stroll around one of the centuries-old estates in the immediate vicinity, such as Nieuw Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout or Huys te Warmont in Warmond. From late March to late May, a visit to the world-famous flower bulb exhibition the Keukenhof in Lisse is a must. Water lovers can explore one of two Dutch Lakes, the Kagerplassen or the Braassemmermeer, to their heart's content in a sloop or sailing boat. Recreation from the shore can be done by crossing the ferry to De Kaag

Island. Beach restaurant Nederzandt is located at the beach entrance. Spring, summer, autumn or winter, you can drop in here at any time of year for a refreshing ice cream or a warming cup of chocolate milk. From Voorhout station (free parking), you can easily travel by train to Haarlem or Leiden. Highly recommended are the city walks through courtyards in both cities. Here you can experience peace and quiet in the heart of the city.

The brightly decorated holiday home exudes a relaxed atmosphere. The house sleeps up to 6 people and is fully equipped. The cosy living room has a wood-burning stove and is separated from the kitchen (incl. dishwasher, oven, filter coffee machine) where the dining table is. On the ground floor, in addition to a toilet, are the master bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs, there are 2 more bedrooms with 2 single beds each. The bathroom has a bath and shower. A washing machine and dryer are available in the house. Even the youngest guests have been thought of: the house has a camp bed (bring your own bed linen) and a high chair. In addition, the house is equipped with stair gates and socket protection. The spacious garden with a stylish shed is adjacent to the dunes of Noordwijk, where fallow deer roe deer are your neighbours. Two bicycles are available at the house.
