Description

This former gardener’s home is situated on estate Spanderswoud on the edge of the forest with a view across a meadow.
The estate Spanderswoud is one of ‘s-Gravenland courtyards that is restored again to full glory by Natuurmonumenten. The courtyards with 50-kilometres walking routes along beautiful water parts, stately beech tree lanes, winding paths through forests and open meadows ensure for an oasis of green and peace in the Randstad.

 

From the front door you almost immediately come across the many walking routes. The cycling routes Naardermeer and Vechtplassen, both about 28 kilometres, and walking routes almost pass your front door. The canoe routes in the areas are also really recommendable. More routes and activities start from the visitor’s centre Gooi en Vechtstreek. And with Amsterdam and Utrecht within a distance of about 25 kilometres, a day in the town or a day of culture can be a nice change.

 

The holiday home Petite Grangette is only small, but inside surprisingly spacious and equipped with all modern comforts. On the ground floor there is a dining kitchen (combi-microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer) and a separate sitting room with wood fire. On the first floor there is 1 bedroom and bathroom with shower with two rain showers.
Outside a half-fenced off garden with free view across the meadow. And the deer will visit you in the morning!
